Learn to make decorative pinch pots for yourself and experiment with the versatility of clay.

Join us for this Saturday workshop, where we show you how to work with a fundamental hand building technique called pinching. Make decorative pinch pots for yourself and explore the numerous possibilities of adding texture on to your cute little pots.

 

You will learn:

  • Take 500grams of clay
  • Divide it into five, 100 gram balls of clay
  • Start pinching out a ball of clay as instructed
  • Hand build and pinch out different shapes as desired
  • Carve or add texture to the outer surface of the bowls as instructed
  • Smooth the pieces and do the final finishing.

Note:

  • For ages 12 and above only
  • No prior clay knowledge is required to join our workshops. 
  • The workshop fee is non- refundable, but can be transferred to another participant.

If you wish to keep your piece:

  • The firing cost is Rs 500 for the pieces you wish to keep.
  • All the pieces will remain in the studio to dry completely, get bisque & glaze fired to reveal the final product.
  • This is a 4 week long process, hence your pieces will be available to pick up after a minimum span of 4 weeks.
  • In case you're unable to pick up your piece, we can ship them to you, at an additional shipping cost.
