April Retreat

Pottery and Yoga Retreat

at Aura Pottery

April 01-08, 2024

Welcome to our rejuvenating pottery, yoga, and meditation retreat in the heart of India. This immersive experience combines the ancient art of pottery with the therapeutic practices of yoga and meditation.

The retreat offers a structured program of rejuvenation, featuring yoga and meditation sessions set against the backdrop of tranquil landscapes. Our participants will not only engage in the hands-on experience of pottery but also enjoy homemade, farm-to-table meals that promote overall well-being. This retreat will introduce you to the fundamental techniques of building in clay with the best tools a potter can have - their hands. In this retreat we will focus on hand building techniques like pinching, coiling and slab rolling. Participants will be challenged to contemplate design, visualise the entire process beforehand to enhance user experience, fostering deeper engagement and creative foresight.

Join us for a journey that blends creative expression, and mindfulness, providing a unique opportunity to recharge and rediscover balance in company of like minded people.

Retreat Fee: INR 69999 onwards (+18% GST) inclusive of all studio materials, meals, accommodation, and all the mentioned activities.

Meet the Artist

Anuja (a.k.a Andy) was first introduced to pottery in 2015. It inspired her to pursue her dream of having a clay studio that would someday be buzzing with people who love to learn and practice pottery. As a largely self-taught potter, Anuja, with her family’s support, was able to bring the vision of Aura Pottery to life in just three years. What started with a lone potter’s wheel and a bag of clay, evolved into a lively studio that offers pottery courses in India along with an opportunity for artists to discover, learn and express themselves.
