Filaments And Textures- Alberto Bustos

Filaments and textures Retreat

with Alberto Bustos

Dec 09-16, 2024

Welcome to our rejuvenating pottery, yoga, and meditation retreat in the heart of India. This immersive experience combines the ancient art of pottery with the therapeutic practices of yoga and meditation. The main objective of the workshop is to model the clay directly with our hands, without tools. In this way we will be able to communicate directly with the clay and transmit our feelings.

The retreat offers a structured program of rejuvenation, featuring yoga and meditation sessions set against the backdrop of tranquil landscapes. Our participants will not only engage in the hands-on experience of pottery but also enjoy homemade, farm-to-table meals that promote overall well-being.

Join us for a transformative journey that blends creative expression, mindfulness, and cultural exploration, providing a unique opportunity to recharge and rediscover balance in the midst of India's timeless beauty.

Retreat Fee: USD 2700 inclusive of all studio materials, glazes and firings, meals, accommodation, and all the mentioned activities.

Meet the Artist

As a self-taught individual, Alberto Bustos never imagined that his passion and admiration for Ceramics would evolve into your way of life, giving profound meaning to your existence. Perhaps it's your inherent attraction to Nature that grounded you, allowing you to fuse with the earth, your true essence. Through "natuRareza," you immerse yourself in the vegetal psyche, seeking to understand the tortured feelings born from environmental degradation caused by humans. Your sole desire is for your art to deeply resonate with human sensitivity, aiming to reverse the harm we inflict upon ourselves.
